Manga "The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World" will end next issue

The May issue of Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy magazine has revealed that the manga "The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World" (Arafō Otoko no Isekai Tsūhan Seikatsu) by Umiharu (which is an adaptation of Hifumi Asakura's light novel series of the same title) will end in the next issue of the magazine on May 17.

Published digitally by Square Enix's Manga UP! Global and Comikey, the manga is also available on Kadokawa's BookWalker Global Store. The story follows Ken'ichi, a single man nearing 40, who suddenly finds himself transported to another world. While exploring the dangerous forests of this new world, he discovers the ability to use a vast online shopping site. With this newfound power, Ken'ichi intends to live a life of leisure in another world.

The manga adaptation, illustrated by Umiharu, started being serialized in Monthly G Fantasy in April 2019. Square Enix has released seven compiled volumes of the manga since its debut, with the most recent volume published on February 27.

Asakura originally published the light novel series on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2017, concluding it in June 2021. SB Creative released the first volume of the light novel series, illustrated by Yamakawa, in May 2018, followed by the third volume in April 2019.
