DC unveils new look at "Absolute Power" 2024 event

DC has revealed a number of new details surrounding "Absolute Power", the new crossover storyline that will be anchored by a four-issue mini-series from writer Mark Waid and artist Dan Mora. First announced in February, "Absolute Power" will begin with DC's Free Comic Book Day, which will be available at participating comic book stores on Saturday, May 4. As we now know, it will extend into some spin-off miniseries, which will be published in June and July.

"Absolute Power" shows how Waller will use the strategic and military might of Failsafe and the supernatural technology of Queen Brainiac to steal all the metahuman abilities of all the superheroes and supervillains around the world, a threat so terrible that it will require the combined efforts of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the superheroes of the DC Universe to defeat it.

Below you can see various looks of the heroes for the special event:

Fans can check out the "Absolute Power" event in intrigue on Free Comic Book Day, May 4, with the "Absolute Power 2024 FCBD Special Edition" available in participating comic book stores (while stocks last) on the international market.
